UNCG Official Graduate
Grading System
Quizzes: Every Tuesday there will be a quiz based on the materials
from the previous week. When calculating your quiz average at the end of
the semester, I will drop the lowest score. There are no make-up quizzes.
If you miss a quiz for any reason, that becomes your dropped quiz.
Punctuality: Because of the demanding pace of this course, it
is important that you stay up-to-date with your assignments. In order to
encourage you to do so, I will not accept any late assignments unless you
have requested prior permission.
Some
course assignments are password-protected. When you click on one of their
links, you will see a dialog box, similar to the one seen at right, requesting
you to enter a username and password. Both will be given to you by your
instructor. Enter them in lowercase only, and pay attention to your
spelling. If either is misspelled or uppercased, the system will not
authorize your entry: You will have to try again. Contact your instructor
if you encounter problems.
